National Domestic Violence Awareness Month
Virtual Art Contest
The Webb County Domestic Violence Coalition and Councilwoman Nelly Vielma are inviting students of high school level to participate in a virtual art competition as part of the National Domestic Violence Awareness Month this October.
REGISTRATION
All artists must register using the attached registration form.
Tell us a little about your artwork and yourself: your artistic training, your artistic inspiration, media choice, any special technique used, etc. Your entry may not be selected if the bio is not provided.
ARTWORK SUBMISSION:
Artwork must be submitted at the Joe A. Guerra Laredo Public Library, 1120 E. Calton Rd. by 10/23/2020 5:00 pm. This is the official closure of the contest. Entries and submissions after this date will not be considered. Please include your name, phone number and other contact information.
THEME:
How can I stop domestic violence? Artists can come up with creative ideas and put them down on canvas or paper.
PARTICIPANTS:
Only students of high school level.
