Get ready to celebrate stories and community at your local library! Our One City, One Book event is back! This year’s program will culminate in a special visit from the author of “The Birth of Korean Cool: How One Nation Is Conquering the World Through Pop Culture,” Euny Hong! Join us on Saturday, April 18, starting at 9:30 a.m. for a special meet-and-greet and book signing followed by an engaging presentation at 10 a.m. by the author herself! Come connect with others, get inspired, and share in the love of books with your community!

Attention, one and all! Teens in 5th-12th grade are requested to present themselves to the Teens’ Medieval Fest at the Joe A. Guerra Laredo Public Library! Join for merriment and entertainment as provided by the Teen Advisory Board. Costumes encouraged!

Whether you’re a seasoned knitter or just starting out, this relaxed weekly meetup is the perfect place to unwind, learn new techniques, and connect with fellow crafters. Join us for Studio Ghibli Movie Fest Week at the Laredo Public Libraries! Watch a different Studio Ghibli movie and make a craft all week starting Tuesday, April 21st and ending Saturday, April 25th at different library locations. Join us at the Joe A. Guerra branch on the final day for snacks, prizes, additional crafts, and special guests! Open to all ages!
