Join us as we welcome author Carmen Aguirre to discuss her book, “Something Fierce: Memoirs of a Revolutionary Daughter” on Saturday, October 5, at 9:30am in our Joe A. Guerra Laredo Public Library! In her book, Aguirre shares her experiences dealing with the aftermath of the 1973 Chilean coup and her efforts in the Chilean resistance. Our program will begin with a meet and greet at 9:30am and an author presentation at 10:30am. This program is free and open to the public! Light refreshments will be served. Free copies of the book will be available on a first come, first served basis.
