One City One Book 2020

That’s That: A Memoir, by Colin Broderick is the selected community read for this year’s One City One Book event.  The Laredo Public Library and Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) have been partnering for over ten years to offer this engaging event and for the first time ever, it will be hosted virtually.  This joint program is funded in part by Humanities Texas as part of the Humanities Texas as part of the TAMIU’s Common Read Program.

Readers will have the opportunity to meet Mr. Broderick virtually on Saturday, October 3, 2020, at 10:30 am. This event is free and open to the public. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to attend virtually from the safety and comfort of your favorite place. To participate, join us on FaceBook Live via Reader Bear or Laredo Public Libraries. You can also join us on Webex as an attendee by clicking here. The event password is: 1234

Print copies of the book are available at no cost through curbside pickup at the Joe A. Guerra Laredo Public Library (1120 E. Calton) or the McKendrick Ochoa Salinas branch (1920 Palo Blanco). Digital copies of the book are available by downloading the Overdrive Application.
