Renew an Item

Only books can be renewed for one additional loan period. Books may be renewed in person or by telephone by calling 795-2400 ext. 2239. Overdue books will not be renewed over the telephone. Books on hold for another patron can not be renewed. Other materials such as software, videos, DVDs or books with restricted circulation may not be renewed. Patrons with a delinquent record may not renew books.

Reserve an Item

A hold can be placed on any item other than videos, DVDs, software or CDs that is checked out, in processing or in search status. A patron may fill out a Hold Request Form and turn it in to the circulation desk, or by entering patron library card number on the book record in the Public Access Catalog. The patron is notified by phone or by mail when the requested item becomes available. Materials will be held for 1 week. If there are other patrons waiting for the same book, the patron must pick up the book within 3 days after notification or be shuffled to the end of the waiting list.
