What is an eBook?

Ebooks are electronic versions of books that are available for electronic distribution for PCs, PDAs and eBook Readers

 

How can we download eBooks to the eBook Reader, PDA or PC?

  • You must have the Mobipocket reading software installed on your PC or handheld device and register your Mobipocket personal ID with us before you can read borrowed eBooks. Click here to download and register your Mobipocket personal ID.
  • Search or browse for eBooks you want to borrow.
  • Click on the "Borrow" button.
  • If you haven't already, log in when prompted using your login id.
    If the eBook is available, it will be copied to your "Bookshelf".
  • Download the eBook from your bookshelf by clicking the Download button.
  • You can read eBooks for the borrow period of 7 to 14 days, after which time it will expire and become unreadable. You may borrow it again if no other patron has borrowed it.
  • There is a limit of 3 eBooks borrowed by any patron at a time.
